Lavsaik is a place for those who seek not just text, but spiritual meaning and the presence of God’s grace in life.

The Blessed Virgin Mary and Joseph, two thousand years ago, were searching for a place for the Word of God to be born — but every inn, every house was already full. So they found shelter in a cave used for animals.

Today our bodies are like inns, with a sign that always says "OCCUPIED". And so the Word of God chooses humble souls, symbolized by the Virgin Mary, and those in need of healing from sin — symbolized by the cave with livestock and the sins we tend in our hearts.

We believe that God's Word speaks to everyone who listens with the heart. Let God be born in your heart.
